Shooting star night at the Parc du Petit Prince

Ungersheim

09/08/2025

On August 9, enjoy a timeless evening in the Parc du Petit Prince for the Night of the Shooting Stars. With celestial discoveries, fun activities and an open-air concert, get ready for a magical evening of curiosity and wonder.

Starting in the afternoon, the Saint-Exupéry exhibition will be transformed into a veritable ephemeral planetarium. The Astro Sac à Dos team will be offering interactive sessions to explore the mysteries of the sky and learn how to recognize the constellations. An immersive moment to share with the whole family, to better understand what we're about to observe once night falls.

New this year: author and astronomy enthusiast Nicolas Beck joins the adventure with original activities around Mars. Younger visitors can learn about astronomy in a giant game of goose, while enthusiasts can try their hand at unlocking the secrets of the Red Planet in a themed quiz. The author will also be on hand for discussions with the public and a signing session.

In the early evening, the atmosphere will be resolutely festive in the guinguette area, near the Volcan. The Broken Arms band from Hirtzfelden will take to the stage for a high-energy live concert. The perfect opportunity to relax, dance and enjoy a balmy summer evening in a unique setting.

Finally, when the sky darkens, look up... The Wittelsheim Astronomy Club will accompany you on a stargazing tour. A moment of calm and contemplation to end the day in the silent beauty of the cosmos.

A night to be experienced intensely, between science, music and poetry, for young and old dreamers alike.
