Gueberschwihr
Domaine SCHERB Bernard et Fils is a family estate that we've been cultivating for 4 generations now. Vines have been in our family since 1646.
Our estate cultivates around 17ha of vines spread over a distance of 20 kms belonging to 4 different communes (Gueberschwihr, Voegtlinshoffen, Rouffach and Orschwihr).
We own around thirty different plots, giving us a multitude of terroirs. Our production includes all Alsatian grape varieties (Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir) as well as the Crémant d'Alsace appellations (sparkling wines).
We farm two Grands Crus: Le Vorbourg (Rouffach commune) and Le Goldert (Gueberschwihr commune).
We use integrated pest management (phytosanitary products).
Our grapes are harvested entirely by hand and pressed whole.
We are Vignerons Indépendants Récoltants, with an annual production capacity of 130,000 bottles.
