Eguisheim - a "pearl" in the middle of Alsace and surrounded by vineyards. The medieval village with its unusual round shape and the flowered half-timbered houses was not without reason in 2013 voted the most beautiful village in France. At a height of 210 meters, the village is only 5 kilometers from Colmar and nestles gently in the vine-covered hills. This lively and active place offers many historical and tourist attractions.
Our cottage "Gite & Jardin le coq rouge" is located on the "Rempart" of the former city walls and was probably built in the 17th century. You can use the entire holiday home with the associated land and garden. You also can enjoy on foot in just a few meters away the advantages of the place with its attractions and restaurants. Our holiday home offers on 60 m² and 3 floors a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, convection oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. The dining area adjoins the kitchen and from here you also have access to the terrace and the garden area. In addition to seating and relaxation chairs, you will also find a Plancha gas grill here.
On the first floor then the master bedroom with a new 160x200 cm large box spring bed, so that your stay is not only pleasant but also extremely comfortable. The adjacent bathroom has a 90x90 cm corner shower, sink and toilet. For families with babies there is also a changing table available. On the second floor is the second bedroom with a box spring bed 140x200 cm and a single bed 90x200 cm. On this floor is also the TV and media room. In addition to the 40-inch flat-screen television with extensive TV channels and German satellite TV is also a media box with Internet access incl. Youtube, browser and various Android games available. A DVD player and various DVD's complete the media offer. Throughout the house you also have free access to high-speed Internet Wi-Fi (fiber optic network). In the basement of the house you will find a washing machine and a dryer for free use. The house has a thermostat controlled central heating and can therefore be fully used in all seasons. The house is a non-smoking house. There can be smoked on the terrace and in the garden.
